*The Intercultural Confluences Research Centre of the Department of Human
Sciences, Faculty of Economics, Socio-Human Sciences and Engineering,
Miercurea Ciuc, Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, would like
to invite you to an interdisciplinary one-day online workshop in English
entitled Perspectives in Human Sciences, to be held on 8 April, 2022.*



In a world defined by scarce presence of future certitude in several
domains, the workshop would like to offer a forum for researchers within
the field of humanities to present their latest research results and
formulate their perspectives and new agendas for future research in the
fields of literary studies, linguistics, language teaching and translation
studies. We would also like to allot time to a roundtable discussion on the
challenges of research (within the humanities) in the current world.

We expect abstracts of maximum 250 words.

*Submission Guidelines*

The workshop will be held online, in the form of presentations and a
roundtable discussion streamed live via Google Meet. We expect submissions
in English.

Abstract submission deadline: *14 February, 2022.*

Deadline of submitting the papers: *9 May, 2022. *



*Publication*

A selection of the papers based on the presentations will be published in
the English-language, peer-reviewed scientific journal *Acta Universitatis
Sapientiae, Philologica*, indexed in several international databases:
